Gena Meyer
A native Texan, Gena has 15+ years of nonprofit sector experience with areas of specialization including drug and alcohol counseling, program development, community engagement and serving vulnerable populations such as victims of crime, individuals experiencing homelessness, at risk youth, and incarcerated individuals.
Community Advocate
Gena has served as Executive Director of Parenting Plus since its founding in 2019.
She and her husband have two adult children. Gena received a bachelor of arts in psychology degree from The University of the Incarnate Word and previously worked at Providence Place and the City of San Antonio's crime reduction unit.
